Switch - removal and installation
1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
2. Remove the driver's airbag module.
3. Remove the steering wheel.
4. Loosen the screws and remove the cover (A) steering column.
5. Disconnect the connector (A) cruise control switch.
6. Remove the switch (A) cruise control.
Note: When removing the switch, take care not to damage the hook.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Checking the technical condition
Resistance measurement
1. Disconnect the cruise control switch connector from the switch.
2. Set all function switches to the on position (switch pressed) and measure the resistance between the terminals of the control switch.
3. If the measured resistance is not within the specified ranges, replace the switch.
Voltage measurement
1. Connect the cruise control switch connector to the control switch.
2. Set all function switches to the on position (switch pressed) and measure the voltage between the terminals of the control switch.
3. If the measured voltage is not within the specified ranges, replace the switch.
