2. Bleed the system, then start the engine and warm up the working fluid to an operating temperature of approximately 50-60°C by turning the steering wheel several times.
3. Increase the crankshaft speed up to 1000±100 rpm.
4. Close the pressure gauge valve and check that the fluid pressure is within the specified limits.
The control value of the discharge pressure of the hydraulic booster pump:
- L4 engines (2.0 l): 8.6-9.1 MPa;
- V6 engine (2.7 l): 9.1-9.6 MPa.
5. If the pressure is not within the specified limits, repair the pump.
6. Remove the control devices, connect the high pressure hose to the pump and tighten the fitting to a torque of 55-65 Nm.
7. Bleed the system.
