Master cylinder — removal

1. Remove the air filter mounting bolts (IN) and remove the air filter housing (A) from the bracket.



2. Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector (A) and remove the expansion tank cap (IN).



3. Use a syringe to remove the brake fluid from the expansion tank (WITH).

4. Disconnect the brake pipes (A) from the master cylinder. Seal the openings of the hoses with a rag or cloth.



5. Unscrew the nuts securing the master brake cylinder (IN) with pucks.

6. Remove the brake master cylinder (WITH) with vacuum brake booster (D).
