2. Allow the engine to cool and drain the coolant.
3. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
4. Loosen bolt A and remove expansion valve B of the evaporator. Protect valve from contamination.
5. Disconnect the heater radiator pipes C and D. Fluid remains in the radiator. Be careful not to spill liquid on electrical wiring and painted surfaces.
6. Disconnect the wiring connectors.
7. Remove cover.
8. Remove fixing nut A, bolt B and fastener C.
9. Disconnect connector A (for electric heater), unscrew screw B and remove electric heater C.
10. Remove bracket D.
11. Remove the fastening clips, open the housing and remove the heater core and evaporator.
12. Install the replaced parts.
13. Reassemble in reverse order, taking into account the following:
- when installing a new condenser, it is necessary to add refrigerant and oil to the system;
- replace all seals with new ones;
- lubricate with a small amount of oil before installing the seal;
- use seals for R-134a refrigerant;
- make sure that the installation of a new capacitor is reliable;
- charge the system with refrigerant and test.
