General information
When the power transistor switches to position "ON" (ON) at the signal of the electronic engine control unit, then current will be applied to the primary winding of the ignition coil (voltage 12 V). When switching the power transistor to the position "OFF" (OFF), the current in the primary circuit is interrupted and a high voltage is induced in the secondary winding.
