Note: To avoid battery drain, avoid using the power windows when the engine is not running.
1. The power windows operate when the ignition key is in the "ON" or within 30 seconds after turning off the ignition (key in position "ACC" or "LOCK"). If the front side door is opened within 30 seconds of turning off the ignition, the power windows will only operate when the ignition key is in the "ON".
Attention: each power window is equipped with a safety device. If your hand or head is caught in the glass, the glass will automatically lower (the power window will start working a few seconds later). However, be careful not to pinch your fingers in the glass.
2. There is a switch on the passenger door panel that can be used to adjust the position of the glass of this door. To raise the window, slightly pull the switch up; to lower the window, lightly press the switch. While holding the switch in the desired position, adjust the position of the door glass.
3. From the driver's door panel, you can control the position of the windows of all doors (same as passenger door switch), as well as to block the power windows of all doors. The location of the switches on the panel corresponds to the location of the car doors in the forward direction.
Caution: Pressing the power window switch on the passenger door and the switch on the driver's door panel simultaneously in opposite directions will activate the overload protection and make it impossible to adjust the position of the glass.
1 - driver's door power window switch, 2 - front passenger's door power window switch, 3 - rear right door power window switch, 4 - rear left door power window switch, 5 - power window lock switch.
4. The driver's door power window switch has the additional function of fully lowering and fully raising the driver's door glass without holding the switch. To activate this function, you must respectively either press (lowering), or pull up (uplift) switch to the end of its travel. If it is necessary to stop the window in the ajar position, briefly press/pull the switch and release it again.
5. To lock the power windows, press the appropriate switch. After that, adjusting the position of the door windows for passengers will become impossible. To release the door window lock, press the switch again.
Attention:
- Never leave the car without removing the key from the ignition.
- Never leave a child in a car (or another person who may misuse the power window controls) unattended.
- If there is a child in the car while driving, press the power window lock switch.
