Removing the pedal
Disconnect the accelerator pedal bushing and cable from the accelerator pedal lever.
Pull the left side of the accelerator pedal towards you, then remove the accelerator pedal from the accelerator lever.

Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the accelerator pedal bracket assembly (pic. 2.391).
Pedal check
Check the accelerator pedal inner cable and sheath for damage.
Check the freedom of movement of the inner cable of the accelerator pedal in the sheath.
Check accelerator pedal lever and lever axle (on bracket) for no deformation.
Check the accelerator pedal return spring for wear and deterioration.
Check up reliability of connection of the plug and a metal tip of a braid of a cable of an accelerator pedal.
Check the correct operation of the accelerator pedal.
Pedal Installation

When installing the return spring on the accelerator pedal lever shaft, apply multipurpose grease to all contact points of the spring and lever shaft with the accelerator pedal lever (pic. 2.392).
Apply sealant to the mounting bolt holes, then install the accelerator pedal bracket and tighten the mounting bolts.
The moment of an inhaling of bolts of fastening of an arm of a pedal of an accelerator: 8–12 Н·м.

Install the plastic grommet of the accelerator pedal cable securely to the end of the accelerator pedal lever (pic. 2.393).
