Rear seat backrest height adjustment
1 - Backrest tilt lever
To recline the rear seat back, push the rear seat backrest recline lever toward the head restraint and release it when the seatback is in the desired position.
After tilting the backrest to the desired position, always check that it is securely locked in place.
Attention: Adjustment of an inclination of a back seat back seat should be made standing.
Adjustable headrests
1 - Retainer
The head restraints provide you with protection for the neck area. To raise the head restraint, pull it up. To lower the head restraint, press it down while pressing the lock.
Warning:
- To reduce the risk of injury in the event of a collision, adjust the height of the head restraints so that the center of the head restraint is as close to eye level as possible. If there is a cushion or the like between your back and the seat back, this may increase the distance between your head and the head restraint and the effectiveness of the head restraints in the event of an accident will be reduced.
- It is dangerous to drive a car with incorrectly adjusted head restraints or without them at all. Be sure to check that the head restraints are properly installed and adjusted. Failure to do so may result in serious neck injury in a traffic accident (accidents).
