- The fuel system operates at high pressures (1350 bar).
- Do not carry out any work on the fuel system while the engine is running or within 30 seconds after it has stopped.
- Always take precautions.
- Ensure absolute cleanliness when working.
- Never remove injectors.
Withdrawal
1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the injector.
3. Disconnect the high pressure line from the pressure accumulator and nozzle.
4. Press the clamp and, moving back, disconnect the fuel return pipe.
5. Attach the fuel return line connection. Never install it without a clamp.
6. Remove the copper o-ring.
Installation
1. Before installing the injector, clean the mating surface of the cylinder head and the sealing surface.
2. Insert the brush.
3. Clean the sealing surface.
4. Install a new copper o-ring. A small amount of lubricant can be used to hold the ring on the nozzle.
5. Install the nozzle without touching the tip of the atomizer, and the sliding clip with the clamp bolt.
6. Screw in the clamping bolt. Tightening torque: 27±2 Nm.
7. Install high pressure piping. Tightening torque: 18–23 Nm.
8. When installing the high-pressure pipeline, to prevent its twisting with a key, fix the hexagonal element of the pipeline.
9. Attach the fuel return line connection. Never install it without a clamp.
10. Pulling back, check the reliability of fastening of the fuel return pipeline.
11. Connect to a nozzle an electric socket.
12. Connect a wire to the negative plug of the storage battery.
13. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
14. Check up and erase the codes of malfunction of a fuel atomizer written down in memory.
