Checking the Idle Air Control (ISCA)

Waveform Check

With the engine running at idle, check the regulator signal: 1 - Closing control signal; 2 - Opening control signal.

Regulator check

Switch off the ignition, disconnect the connector and measure the resistance of the regulator. Rated value: 14.6-16.2 ohms (pins 1 and 2); 11.1-12.7 ohm (pins 2 and 3).

Wiring check

With the ignition on, measure the voltage between the pins of the wired part of the connector and «weight».
